What is Dance Theatre?
Dance Theatre is a modern contemporary dance company at UW- River Falls. Our organization starts rehearsals in September while working toward our spring concert. Dance Theatre is for everyone, no dancing experience needed. It is a great way to stay active during the school year, meet new people, and find alternative ways to express yourself. No audition preparation is required. Dance Theatre incorporates a variety of people with different backgrounds and experiences. We strive to provide a rich dance experience for those in River Falls and the surrounding communities. Each year we invite students, alumni, and guest artists to help us create beautiful dance pieces. Dance Theatre involves themselves in homecoming activities, cultural performances, and other community events. We also provide an opportunity for students to participate and perform at the American College Dance Association. Students have the chance to perform an adjudicated and informal piece at the festival as well as see performance from schools all over the country. Students also have a chance to participate in classes being held by professors from a variety of schools.

Dance Theatre Spring Concert
The 2023 UW-River Falls Dance Theatre spring concert will be February 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th at 7:30pm in Abbott Concert Hall in the Kleinpell Fine Arts Building (420 E. Cascade Ave., River Falls, WI 54022). Admission is free.
